The other day, I asked Jilliane to write about ‘love’ as
part of her summer work. (Just to see what she thought about it in her 7-year
old mind.) I don’t know what I was expecting…but, as usual, she surprised me.
What she wrote: “love is sumting that you giv away! Love is
when yor cinend and nice and giv pepel things that thay realy nead. God loves
us mor then enithing cus he made us.”
Translation: Love is something that you give away! Love is
when you’re kind and nice and give people things that they really need. God
loves us more than anything because he made us.
